As a Happiness Coach, I believe that everyone deserves to feel fulfilled and content in their work life.


But it's no secret that not everyone is happy at work. If you find yourself feeling stuck, unmotivated or unhappy at work, I encourage you to practice The Eight Pillars of Happiness: Authenticity, Confidence, Optimism, Feeling, Purpose, Curiosity, Gratitude and Compassion.


Start by showing up authentically.


Be true to yourself and your values and don't be afraid to express your opinions and ideas. This will help you build stronger relationships with your colleagues and feel more connected to your work.


Confidence is key.


Believe in yourself and your abilities and don't be afraid to take on new challenges. This will help you grow and develop in your career, which can lead to greater fulfillment and satisfaction.


Maintaining a positive outlook is really important.


Stay optimistic, even when faced with challenges or setbacks. Focus on the opportunities that lie ahead rather than dwelling on the past.


Finding purpose and meaning in your work is crucial.


Understand how your work contributes to the larger goals of your organization and society as a whole. This can help you feel more connected and find greater meaning in what you do.


Curiosity is a super valuable skill.


Stay curious and open-minded and never stop learning. This can help you stay engaged and interested in your work and can also lead to new opportunities and experiences.


Gratitude is a powerful tool.


Take time to appreciate the people and things around you and express your gratitude often. This will help you build stronger relationships and feel more connected.


Compassion creates happy and supportive work environments.


Treat your colleagues with kindness and empathy and be willing to lend a helping hand when needed.


Don't forget to feel your feelings.


Allow yourself to feel a full range of emotions, both positive and negative. This can help you build emotional resilience and improve your overall wellbeing.
