Thank you for choosing to work with me as your Coach. I am excited to begin a coaching relationship that helps you to create the life you want to live. To partner together professionally, I want you to be familiar with the following guidelines:
Coaching is a partnership between me, the Coach, and you, the Client. It is a thought-provoking and creative process that inspires you to maximize your potential. Coaching is designed to facilitate the creation and development of goals and it is designed to develop and carry out a strategy and a plan for achieving those goals. Your goals can be personal and/or professional.
Many people create change for themselves in a short time. However, the process of refining and sustaining deep and profound change can take several months. I invite you to think of Coaching as a process. Although not binding, I would ask that you maintain reasonable expectations of our work together. Most clients see great benefit from a coaching relationship that lasts several months or more.
My coaching services are not in any way to be construed as, or a replacement for, psychotherapy, legal counsel or medical advice. You are responsible for creating your own decisions and results. You agree not to hold me, or any company I am affiliated with, liable for any outcomes resulting directly or indirectly from the coaching process. Feel free to consult your attorney.
Any new learning can be uncomfortable. Entering into a coaching relationship requires the willingness to leave familiar shores and venture into uncharted waters. As your coach, my philosophy is that you have the internal wisdom to captain your own ship, and I will support and guide you through this process, but the process and the result belong to you.
My Coaching fee is payable to Jessica Lyonford. Payments are accepted online via credit card, Paypal or Stripe and are due when you book a session or coaching package. All fees must be paid according to the plan you selected. Plans must be in good standing at the start of each appointment in order to honor the scheduled appointment.
Our sessions will take place online, unless we make other arrangements. You will receive a Google video link before your appointment.
We will have up to 60 minutes available for your scheduled appointments. Sometimes you will be better served by a shorter call and sometimes we will take the full amount of time. It is about the value of the session to you, not the length of time.
If you need to reschedule our appointment, please give me 24 hours’ notice. If you have an emergency or illness, you can reschedule with less than 24 hours’ notice.
If you do not show up for a scheduled call, for any reason, and provide no notice prior to the scheduled start time, we will not make up that time. If I need to reschedule, I will give you the same 24 hours’ notice, barring an emergency or illness.
If you wish to connect with me in between sessions with a challenge, a success, or an inquiry, I will make every attempt to respond to your email within 24 hours by email. Feel free to email me any time at firstname.lastname@example.org with ideas, problems, questions, etc. I will make every effort to accommodate you between appointments.
I, as Coach, represent, warrant, and agree as follows:
All information provided by you to me during the course of the coaching relationship will be deemed "Confidential Information" and kept strictly confidential unless otherwise agreed in writing. I will not disclose any communications, either verbal or written, that have taken place either between you and me or concerning this Agreement without your prior written consent.
This confidentiality restriction also applies to testimonials, which I may use for promotional reasons only with your consent. You may request anonymity in connection with any testimonials to be used.
In addition, for ICF accreditation, I may be asked to submit your name and contact information to verify coaching has occurred.
If I ever say or do anything that upsets you or doesn't feel right, please bring it to my attention so that we can resolve it as soon as possible. You can share this information during a session or email me at email@example.com
My objective is to have a coaching relationship that is fully open, honest, real and trusting in our communication styles.
We should both realize that communication via telephone or email entails extra challenges since we cannot see body language, facial expressions, etc. Therefore we give each other plenty of latitude, and promptly ask for clarification if there is a mis-connection in any way.
